LCM reverse osmosis membrane is a thin film composite membrane made of three layers. A bottom poly ester support web. A middle microprous support layer composed of polysulphone and an ultrathin top barrier layer of poly amide. A micro porous layer of poly sulphone is cast In to the web surface with partial penetration of polysulphone in to the polyester web.
The Lexcru TFC membrane is an aromatic polyamide made from meta phenylene diamine and tri acid chloride. Lexcru membranes are chemically stable enabling multiple chemical cleaning. The thickness of barrier layer is nearly 200 nanometer .The moderate thickness of barrier layer make these membranes strong and stress resistant. Lexcru membrane sheets are less susceptible to fouling due to fouling resistant protective coating over it.

Description

PLANT START UP

– Proper start-up of reverse osmosis water treatment systems is essential to prepare the membranes for operating service and to prevent.
– Membrane damage due to over feeding.or hydraulic shock. Following the proper start-up sequence also helps ensure that system operating.
– Parameters conform to design specifications so that system water quality and productivity goals can be achieved.
– Feed pressure should be increased gradually over a 30-60 second time frame.
– Cross-flow velocity at set operating point should be achieved gradually over 15-20 seconds.

TOXICITY DATA

– Product water from RO membrane sheet  is non toxic and is confirmed from various toxicity testing.

MEMBRANE / MODULE  DISPOSAL

– Users are responsible for ensuring that elements / sheets are disposed of in accordance with all local and federal regulations in the applicable.
– Used RO sheet / modules typically can be disposed of as municipal waste provided that they do not contain any free liquids or substances at levels that exceed regulatory thresholds.
